As part of the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the Bureau International Jeunesse(BIJ) is organizing a citizens' event with Belgian institutional actors from February 19 to March 10, 2024.
More specifically, an Agora Jeunes Citoyen·ne·s (AJC) will take place in Brussels from March 4 to 10, 2024, with 60 young people from the French-speaking world (Europe and QuebecThis Agora Jeunes Citoyen-ne-s #JaiMonMotADire will take place in a unique setting: "la Track", an open space at the Brussels-North railway station, which will allow participants to question participation through activities that will also bring together other citizens from the Wallonia-Brussels federation.
The program includes workshops, performances, networking events, meetings with policymakers, debates, screenings, exhibitions, and more.
The purpose of this meeting is to :
- Encourage young people from the French-speaking world to meet and share their thoughts and plans for active participation;
- Enable these young people to share their concrete actions and best practices in getting involved at the local, regional, national and international levels;
- Encourage interdisciplinary enrichment and collaboration
