The comic book artist Nina Six obtained a grant from the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, in partnership with, Québec BD to set down her luggage in Quebec City. For two months, she will travel around Montreal, Trois Rivières and Tadoussac, to follow in the footsteps of her mother who traveled along the St. Lawrence River twenty years ago and who was strongly marked by this experience.
As part of her residency in Quebec, Nina Six went to the April 12 to 16, 2023 at theFestival Québec BD and to the Salon International du livre de Québec (SILQ) to play the role of comic book reporter. The Belgian artist produced a daily comic strip inspired by her own participation in the event, the surrounding elements, and the happy encounters she was able to make.

Biography
Born in 1998 in Orleans, Nina Six has been living in Belgium for the past eight years. Her narrative practice is intimate, personal, and based on childhood memories. Her work as an author engages her to be attentive to the sensitive, to the living; to the world in movement with which she composes.
